Salmon Release Program - NEW!

Grades 4-7, $199, maximum 30 students, 2 hours

Complements the Department of Fisheries and Oceans Salmonids in the Classroom Program. Enhance the learning opportunity as your students release their fry into the wild waters of Stanley Park. Do a stream survey and meet fry prey up close and personal in an exploratory pond dip.

*can also be done without salmon fry.

Nature Detectives

Grades K-3, $149, maximum 25 students, 1.5 hours

Discover the hidden secrets and stories of the forest in this sensory journey through nature. Meet bugs, feed trees, and - if you're very lucky - you just might spot a squirrel!

Forest Fundamentals

Grades 4-7, $199, maximum 30 students, 2 hours

Join us on a forest adventure where you'll get the full story on forest succession, biodiversity and how the forest ecosystem is one of our best climate change defenders.

Beach Explorers

Grades 2-3, $149, maximum 25 students, 1.5 hours

Come to the beach at low tide and explore the diverse world of the intertidal zone! Search for crabs, barnacles, seaweeds and shorebirds, and discover human connections to our seashores.

Mysteries of the Marsh

Grades 4-7, $199, maximum 30 students, 2 hours

What makes a wetland a good place to live? How do animals adapt to pond life and eat their way along the food chain? Roll up your sleeves and explore wetland wildlife up close with dip nets, microscopes and games!

Stanley Park Survivor

Experience wilderness survival in Stanley Park by immersing your class in this team based adventure. Learn knot-tying and build your own wilderness survival shelter.

Introduced Invaders

How do invasive species and human impacts affect the balance of delicate ecosystems? Discover and protect the diversity of BC's forest ecosystems in this fun, fact-filled, physical quest to remove invasive plants in Stanley Park!
