Beach Explorers

Come to the beach at low tide and explore the diverse world of the intertidal zone!  Search for crabs, barnacles, seaweeds and shorebirds, and discover human connections to our seashores.

What makes a wetland a good place to live?  How do animals adapt to pond life and eat their way along the food chain?  Roll up your sleeves and explore wetland wildlife up close with dip nets, binoculars, microscopes and games!

Experience wilderness survival at Stanley Park by using simple tools and sensory awareness to help to navigate through the forest.  Try your hand at knot-tying, shelter building and problem solving in this team based adventure.
